Library Resouce Centre

Welcome to the Library section of the website. Here you can find out all about the school library:

 

The Library Resource Centre offers the following resources to staff and pupils:

Books Audio-visual material (‘talking books' and videos)

Computing Facilities Newspapers and magazines

Careers Library Internet access

CD Rom facilities.

 


Combined with the LRC is the Information Technology Base which contains computers for pupils compiling Progress Files, or working on coursework. A computerised catalogue and circulation system ( ALICE ) is used which allows pupils rapid access to every item held in the LRC.

The Library Resource Centre is a whole school resource, and all year groups are encouraged to make full use of its facilities.
