Pupil Bulletin      Bulletin des Eleves     Schülerbekanntmachung

1. Red Nose Day (Miss Templeton)
A huge thank you goes to all pupils who contributed to the Red Nose Day fundraising last week. We don't know the final sum of money we have raised yet, but it should be over £1000 – so well done to you! The karaoke went really well and there were some fantastic pupil performances. Sorry if you put your name down for a song and didn't get to sing – there just wasn't enough time to fit everybody in.

Extra credit goes to all pupils who were sponsored for silences, wearing pyjamas or waxing their legs. A very entertaining lunchtime was provided on Friday by Rhys Jones (S2), Craig Hogg (S5) and Scott Little (S5) and they raised a huge amount of money, too!

Could all sponsor forms and all money raised through sponsorships be returned to Miss Templeton (A7) as soon as possible please, so that we can total up all of the money raised?

Red Nose Dog was won by Shannon McGregor (2W) who guessed the date closest to the dog's birthday – she guessed the 17 th of February and his birthday was the 22 nd . The jar of sweeties was won by Duncan Burnett (2B1) who guessed that there were 1253 sweeties in the jar. The actual number counted by Miss Templeton was 1252 (so who knows if that is actually correct or not?) She also ate the exact same number of sweeties while filling it up – one for the jar, one for Miss Templeton…

Thank you to Mrs James' S3 class who helped to sell tickets for the karaoke at intervals last week and to Caitlin Houston who allowed us to use her PS2 and Singstar games for the karaoke.

Miss Templeton would also like to thank the S5 girls – Karen Gray, Stephanie Johnstone, Lesley Roy, Amy Bromley, Sophie Marshall, Rachel Tesfaye, Alison Seaman, Jennifer Baillie, Dinah Hayes (and all of the other girls whose names I don't know / can't remember!) – for all of their help throughout the week. You did a fantastic job and we could not have done it without you!
