Loudoun Castle is a great place for a fun day out for the family. It has rides for every age group including toddlers, youngsters, teenagers and all the adults. It has a cheap entry fee; the fee is different for every age group and if you go you will have a great day out. Lochgoilhead is great to get away for a good couple of days full of activities for all the family. One of the best castles is Dean castle in Kilmarnock with its beautiful scenery and historic castle. There is an outside nature trail in the woods, also with some farm animals that you can clap and feed, but beware of the peacock that's on the loose!
